On of the myriad of ways to make money is to create a new product. Product ideas can often times be difficult to come up, especially for the beginners. Most people get caught up looking for the most ground breaking product to produce and come up short. The trick to this is not looking so hard, the answer can be right in front of you. By looking closer to home you'll probably find a lot more inspiration then trying to pull something spectacular out of thin air.

As long as your product helps somebody to solve a problem then chances are it will sell. It doesn't need to be the next greatest thing out there in order to do this. There are many different brands out there that all sell the same product with a different spin on it. When you stop thinking so hard you're bound to find that the answers are right in front of you.

Once you stop trying to be the next great thing you'll be able to compose a realistic list of ideas. You can start by composing a list of problems you come across in your life. Once you've got the basics then eliminate the ideas that are too easily fixed, then with the remaining problems try to identify any products out there that can solve that particular problem. If you come across something you can't think of a product for, it doesn't necessarily mean there isn't one out there, but if you don't know about it then other people don't either. You should by this step have a pretty good list to work with and the next thing is to narrow your choices down a little bit more. You need to work within your budget so eliminate anything that will either be too expensive or too difficult to create. Now you should have some good ideas to work with.

Once you've decided on a product don't worry about whether or not it's already out there. If you don't know of a similar product then there's other people out there in the same boat. Not every product is going to be a hit but getting some ideas out there is a lot better then watching time dwindle away while your still stuck thinking of where to start.
